Scoop Specialist

At The Social Cow, our Scoop Specialists are the heart of the experience — the friendly faces and helping hands that keep the shop joyful, welcoming, and running smoothly. A Scooper’s most important role is creating moments of connection with every guest while maintaining a clean, organized, and beautifully cared-for space.

 

Scoop Specialists are trained in all things Social Cow: baking fresh waffle cones, scooping ice cream with care, and upholding our high standards for cleanliness and presentation. Each shift begins with positive energy, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and just a little bit happier when they leave.

Catering and Events Team Member

The Social Cow is hiring a Part-Time Ice Cream Truck Driver & Event Scooper to join our Catering and Events Team! This role represents the heart of our brand out in the community — bringing joy, connection, and really good ice cream wherever we go.

 

Our events team serves as Social Cow ambassadors, delivering exceptional guest experiences at weddings, corporate gatherings, festivals, school celebrations, private parties, and more. Every event is an opportunity to create memorable moments and spread a little extra happiness.

 

We’re looking for self-starters who are dependable, positive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate brings great energy, strong people skills, attention to detail, and a genuine love for creating fun, welcoming experiences (and ice cream, of course!).

    • Display amazing customer service and positively represent The Social Cow brand

    • Maintain sound food handling and cleaning practices

    • Exhibit menu and product knowledge, and accurately serve offerings to company standards

    • Follow company protocols, driving and safety rules

    • Effectively communicate with other team members and management while on shift

    • Work happily and respectfully as part of the team, show initiative when needed

    • Promote an environment of fun, kindness, and respect

    • Keep catering area cleaned, organized, and well stocked

    • Maintain ice cream catering freezer

    • Ability and willingness to drive large catering vehicles/truck and trailer (no CDL required)

    • Food or other customer service experience

    • Flexible availability (weekends are a MUST)

    • From the months of March - November: No planned absences longer than 7 days in a row without prior approval and must be available 3 out of 4 weekends each month

    • Self-motivation and ability to work independently

    • A great attitude

    • Ability to effectively work well as part of a team and autonomously

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

    • Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness

    • Completing and maintaining accurate and thorough inventory of product and equipment

    • Logging and completing maintenance & cleaning duties for vehicles and event equipment

    • Other duties as needed that assist with the smooth running of The Social Cow catering and event operations
